The Headshot Booth Process

Our streamlined headshot process is designed for speed, professionalism, and an exceptional guest experience. Each attendee will spend 3–5 minutes with our photographer, guided by a friendly assistant who ensures they look their best—adjusting hair, wardrobe, and providing tips for a confident pose. Images are uploaded instantly, allowing attendees to receive, download, and share their headshots on the spot. Every participant receives all of their images taken at the event, and for those who want a little extra polish, magazine-quality retouching is available for purchase.

At Fenix Fotography, our team is driven by passion, creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional visual storytelling.

Our journey began with Ryan Sumner, Creative Director, who turned his side hustle into a thriving business after the Great Recession, which reshaped his career path. In 2018, Michelle Fox joined Fenix Foto, bringing her expertise in administration, sales, and strategy. She created workflows and systems designed from the client’s point of view.

As demand grew, Aleigha Tucker joined the team as lead photographer, adding her artistic vision and technical expertise to elevate our work. To further support our growth, Marina Velo came on board in January 2024 as Director of Operations and Business Development, playing a crucial role in client relations, business strategy, and operational efficiency. This addition to the team created the opportunity for Michelle to finally ascend to her dream job as CEO. She’s the backbone of our operation, ensuring the business continues to evolve and expand.
